Introduction

I am trying to challenge myself and try new things.  I will be blogging about my successes and short comings in achieving my health and fitness goals.  I have about 150 pounds to lose to reach my ideal weight.

I am pretty shy in nature and sitting on the sidelines is part of how I put on so much weight.  I plan to try new things and activities to try to achieve my fitness goals.

I want to set a good example for my kids and family.
